Pop ups, festivals, ball games and your own front door. Here is every easy way to get small batch jerky and carne seca in Albuquerque.

Hi, I'm Aaliyah. I run the website for my family's jerky business, and a question I hear a lot is some version of "where can I buy jerky in Albuquerque?" It's a fair question. We are small batch, we are family run, and we don't look like the big brands on a gas station rack. So let's lay it all out, plain and simple.

The short answer

You can get Jerky Fixx two ways. You can find us in person at pop ups, festivals and ball games around Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, or you can order straight from this site and have it dropped at your door. That's it. No hunting around, no guessing which shelf we're on.

If you typed "beef jerky near me" into your phone and landed here, the fastest move is usually to order. The in-person stops are the fun part, though, and we'll get to those.

Order online and get it at your door

This is the easy one. Pick your flavors on the full menu, add them to your cart, and send the order in. You can also use the contact form if you'd rather just tell us what you want.

Here is what happens next:

We text to confirm. A real person from the crew reaches out to double check your order and details.

You pay how you like. We take Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay or cash.

The dealer comes to you. Our dealer drops the order at your door and sends you a photo once it's delivered, so you know it's sitting on your step and not in a mystery spot.

Prices are simple too. A small bag is $7 and a large bag is $20. If you're not sure whether we reach your neighborhood, just text us at 505-922-5683 or 505-364-0678 and ask. You can also email jerkyfixx@gmail.com.

Catch us in person

We love a booth. You'll find us at pop ups, festivals and plenty of ball games around Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, usually with samples out so you can taste before you commit. That matters, because some of our flavors sound a little wild until you try them.

The next big stop is New Mexico Jerky Fest, Halloween Edition. It's this Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Isleta Resort & Casino. Come find the Jerky Fixx booth, say hi and try a sample. We've been lucky at that festival, too. We won Most Exotic Flavor and Best Booth there, and we'd love to see you at the table.

Not sure where we'll be after that? The dealer locator on the home page shows our next stop, and you can sign up there for dealer alerts so you hear about pop ups and games first.

Not sure what to grab? Start here

Twenty-five flavors can feel like a lot. If you want a shortcut, these are our top sellers:

Honey Teriyaki is the gateway flavor. Sweet, sticky and savory, and a favorite with kids and grandmas alike. No heat at all.

Garlic Parm has roasted garlic and nutty parmesan. Mellow on the heat, loud on the flavor.

Lemon Pepper is bright lemon and cracked black pepper. A classic that never gets old.

Hot Cheetos packs red hot cheeto dust into every strip. Your fingers will be red and you won't care.

Takis brings that rolled chile lime crunch flavor to thin cut carne seca.

Hot Cheeto Pickle is dill pickle tang meeting hot cheeto heat. It sounds weird. It sells out anyway.

Mango Habanero is sweet mango up front and a slow habanero burn on the way out.

X-Hot Green is our hottest green chile jerky, for people who like it loud.

Our heat scale runs from 0 to 5, so there's a spot for everybody, from the "no spice please" crowd to the heat chasers. If you're ordering for a group, mix a couple of mellow bags with one or two hot ones and let people dig in.

A word about carne seca

If you grew up in New Mexico, you probably call it carne seca. If you didn't, you can think of it as the dried, seasoned beef you already love, with a local name. We make ours small batch, with thin cut beef, a heavy hand with the seasoning and a long, slow dry. If you're searching for carne seca in Albuquerque, this is what we do all day. Our green chile carne seca post goes deeper on what makes it special here.

Make it a gift

Jerky travels well and nobody has ever been sad to get a bag. A few mixed flavors make a good gift for a coworker, a game day host or a cousin who just moved away and misses home. Order a few bags, tell us in the drop-off notes where to leave them and when, and the dealer handles the rest.

Ready when you are

So, where can you buy jerky in Albuquerque? At our booth, or at your door. Both are pretty great. If you live on the Westside, you might also like our post on jerky in Rio Rancho, and if you're curious who is behind the bags, meet the Jerky Fixx family.

Thanks for supporting a small family business. It really does mean a lot to my parents, and to me.

Green chile, red chile and a little Christmas style. Here is what makes New Mexico jerky its own thing, and which Jerky Fixx flavors to try first.

Hi again, it's Aaliyah. People who aren't from here sometimes ask me what makes New Mexico jerky different from the stuff you can grab anywhere. I grew up with the answer, but I had to stop and think about how to explain it. The short version is chile. The longer version is chile, tradition and a family that likes to have fun with flavor.

What carne seca means here

Jerky and carne seca are both dried, seasoned beef. In New Mexico, carne seca is the traditional name, and it carries a lot of home feeling with it. When we say we make small batch carne seca, we mean thin cut beef, a heavy hand with the seasoning and a long, slow dry. Nothing fancy, just done carefully, and done by hand by the same crew you meet at our booth.

A lot of what you see on store shelves leans on one or two safe flavors. New Mexico jerky tends to lean on chile, and once you've had it that way, plain can feel like it's missing something.

Green chile jerky, the New Mexico classic

If you ask me what jerky nm lovers should try first, it's green chile. Our Green is classic New Mexico green chile carne seca. It's earthy and bright, with just the right burn. It sits around a 3 on our 0 to 5 heat scale, so it has a real kick without being scary.

Green chile shows up all over our menu, because we can't stop ourselves:

Green is the classic. Earthy, bright, the right burn.

Lemon Pepper Green mixes zesty lemon pepper with green chile heat.

Garlic Parm Green is savory garlic and parmesan with a green chile kick.

Honey Teriyaki Green is sweet honey teriyaki with a little green chile bite on the finish.

Green Chili Ranch is cool ranch seasoning with a mellow green chile warmth. This is a good one if you want the chile flavor without much fire.

X-Hot Green is our hottest green chile jerky. It's green chile heat stacked on more green chile, and it's one of our top sellers.

X-Hot Green Chili Lime Salt takes that X-Hot green chile and adds lime and a hit of salt. Tangy, salty and very hot.

So if you're searching for green chile jerky, you have a whole range to work with, from mellow to "bring a drink."

Red, green or Christmas

Anybody from New Mexico knows the question: red or green? Our Red is red chile beef jerky with deep, smoky New Mexico red chile flavor. And if you can't pick, we have you covered. X-Mas is red and green chile together, Christmas style, the way New Mexico does it. It's a 3 on the heat scale, and it saves you from a hard decision.

The fun side of New Mexico jerky

Here's where my family likes to play. We grew up on chile, but we also grew up on snack aisle favorites, so a bunch of our flavors borrow from those:

Hot Cheetos has red hot cheeto dust packed into every strip.

Hot Cheeto Pickle is dill pickle tang meets hot cheeto heat.

Takis brings rolled chile lime crunch flavor to thin cut carne seca.

Tajin Limon is chile lime Tajin style seasoning with a bright limon finish.

Mango Habanero is sweet mango up front with a slow habanero burn.

Asian Zing is savory, tangy and a little sweet.

That playful streak got noticed. We won Most Exotic Flavor at New Mexico Jerky Fest, and we also took home Best Booth. Honestly, that tells you a lot about us. We take the food seriously, and we also think a pickle and hot cheeto jerky is a great idea.

Not everything has to be hot

I don't want anyone to think they need a cast iron stomach. Plenty of our flavors have no heat or very little. Salt, Garlic, Garlic Parm, Teriyaki and Honey Teriyaki are all a 0. Salt x Pepper, Lemon Pepper and Pickle sit at a 1. These are great for kids, for picky eaters and for anyone who wants New Mexico jerky without the burn.

A good trick for a first order is to pick one mild bag, one medium chile bag like Green or Red, and one wild card. Then you can see where your taste lands.

How to try it

You can order from the full menu, where every flavor has its heat level and description. A small bag is $7 and a large bag is $20. Send your order from the cart page or the contact form, and we'll text you to confirm. You can pay with Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay or cash, and the dealer drops it at your door and sends a photo once it's delivered.

Prefer to taste first? Come see us at New Mexico Jerky Fest, Halloween Edition on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Isleta Resort & Casino. Samples are the best way to decide.

Keep exploring

And if you want to know who is behind all this chile, meet the family.

Joseph Garduno, Sabrina Penn Garduno and the crew. Meet the family behind Jerky Fixx, small batch jerky and carne seca from Albuquerque.

Hi, I'm Aaliyah Garduno, and this is my favorite post to write. Jerky Fixx is my family's business, and I get to be the one who tells you who we are. Some people search for us as "Jerky Fix," and that's totally fine. You found us either way.

Made with love, faith and family

Our little motto says it all: made with love, faith and family. Jerky Fixx is a family operation out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. It's run by my dad, Joseph Garduno, and my mom, Sabrina Penn Garduno, along with the rest of the crew. Every batch gets cut, seasoned and dried by the same people you meet at the booth.

We started making carne seca for the people we love, and the people we love kept asking for more. Now there are 25 flavors, and a lot of folks around the 505 who can't quit.

Joseph Garduno and Sabrina Penn Garduno

My parents are Jerky Fixx. Joseph and Sabrina are husband and wife, and it all comes down to good food, fun flavors and feeding people they care about. You'll usually find them behind the table at pop ups, festivals and softball games, handing out samples and talking flavor with whoever walks up.

I don't want to put words in their mouths, so I'll just say what I see. They care about doing it right, they care about the folks who buy a bag and they care about doing it as a family. If you stop by the booth and tell them which flavor you loved, they will light up.

The crew at the table

Every batch gets cut, seasoned and dried by the same crew that shows up at events. That means you'll see familiar faces if you come around more than once.

We also have what we call the dealer. That's the person who brings your order to your door when you order online. Once it's dropped off, the dealer sends a photo so you know it arrived. It's a small thing, but it makes ordering from us feel like getting a package from a friend.

And then there's me

I'm Aaliyah Garduno, Joseph and Sabrina's daughter. I'm studying web design, and I manage and maintain this website. That means I update the flavors, post the next event, watch the order forms and write these blog posts. It's a real-life class project that my family happens to eat. You can read a bit more about me on my author page.

Having a family business and a web design major under one roof is a great combination. My parents bring the flavors, and I try to make it easy for you to find them.

What we make

We make small batch beef jerky and carne seca, and our approach is simple: thin cut beef, a heavy hand with the seasoning and a long, slow dry. Our menu has 25 flavors, and the heat scale runs from 0 to 5.

Some of our top sellers are:

X-Hot Green, our hottest green chile jerky

Hot Cheetos, Takis and Hot Cheeto Pickle, for snack lovers

Garlic Parm, Honey Teriyaki and Lemon Pepper, for easy crowd pleasers

Mango Habanero, sweet up front with a slow burn

Want to see the whole list? The full menu has every flavor with its heat level. For the chile story, read our post on New Mexico jerky and green chile carne seca.

The hardware

Our family got a nice surprise at New Mexico Jerky Fest, where we won Most Exotic Flavor and Best Booth. We still can't believe it sometimes. The trophies sit proudly in our photos, and they remind us why we do this. We're heading back this Saturday, October 31, 2026, for the Halloween Edition at Isleta Resort & Casino. Come say hi, try a sample and see the booth in person.

Where to find us

We show up at pop ups, festivals and ball games around Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. If you want to know what's next, the dealer locator on the home page has our next stop, and you can sign up for dealer alerts. Need the practical details?
We also have something new on the way. The FIXX Fiends VIP Club, a jerky subscription, is coming soon. You can get on the waitlist at the VIP section of the home page.

Rio Rancho is part of our home turf. Here is how to find Jerky Fixx at pop ups and ball games, or get it dropped at your door.

Hi, Aaliyah here. We are based in Albuquerque, but Rio Rancho is part of our route, and I love that. If you're searching for jerky in Rio Rancho, here's how to get your hands on ours.

Where we show up

Our family sets up at pop ups, festivals and ball games around Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. We're out there all season, and softball games have become a real home away from home for us. If you've ever walked past a table with a bunch of jerky bags, a friendly crew and sample trays, there's a decent chance that was us.

We can't promise a spot at every game, and schedules change. The best way to know where we're posting up next is the dealer locator on our home page. You can also sign up there for dealer alerts, which tell you about pop ups, games and festivals as they come. If you want to ask about a specific Rio Rancho stop, text us at 505-922-5683 or 505-364-0678 and we'll point you in the right direction.

Ball games and jerky go together

Honestly, jerky might be the perfect ball game snack. It's easy to carry, it doesn't need a cooler and it's something you can share down the bleacher. Here's what I'd put in a game day bag:

Honey Teriyaki for the kids and the grandmas. Sweet, sticky and savory, with no heat.

Lemon Pepper for the classic crowd. Bright lemon and cracked black pepper.

Hot Cheetos for the one person in your group who loves red fingers.

Takis for chile lime lovers. Sour, spicy and gone way too fast.

Garlic Parm for anyone who wants big flavor with no burn.

A small bag is $7 and a large bag is $20, so it's easy to split a few flavors for the whole team or the whole family.

No game today? Door drop off

Not everyone has time to catch us at a booth, and that's okay. You can order from home and have it come to you. Here's how it works:

Pick your flavors from the menu and add them to your cart, or tell us what you want through the contact form.

Add your delivery address and any drop-off notes, like where to leave it and when.

Our crew texts you to confirm and take payment. We accept Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay and cash.

The dealer drops your order at your door and sends you a photo once it's delivered.

That photo is one of my favorite parts. You never have to wonder whether your jerky showed up. It's right there on your doorstep, and you can go get it when you're ready.

If you aren't sure your address is in range, just text and ask. We would rather answer a quick question than have you guess.

Which flavors do Rio Rancho folks ask for?

I don't have a neighborhood by neighborhood breakdown, and I won't pretend to. What I can tell you is what our top sellers are overall, because those travel well across the metro:

X-Hot Green

Hot Cheetos

Garlic Parm

Takis

Honey Teriyaki

Mango Habanero

Hot Cheeto Pickle

Lemon Pepper

If you like chile, start with our green chile lineup. Our Green is classic New Mexico green chile carne seca, and X-Hot Green is the one to try if you really like heat. If you want to dig into the chile side of things, check out our post on New Mexico jerky and green chile carne seca.

What is small batch, anyway?

It means a family cuts, seasons and dries the beef in small amounts, then bags it up and brings it to you. The same crew you see at the table is the crew that makes it. Our carne seca starts with thin cut beef, gets a heavy hand with the seasoning and then dries long and slow. That's the whole secret. No big factory, just my family and a lot of love.

Planning a team order or party?

Jerky is an easy team snack or party favor, and our regular ordering works great for that. Order a mix of small and large bags, put the details in the notes and we'll text you to sort it out. If you'd like to book us for an event, send a note through the contact form.

Next stop

This Saturday, October 31, 2026, we'll be at New Mexico Jerky Fest, Halloween Edition at Isleta Resort & Casino in Albuquerque. It's not far from Rio Rancho if you're up for a drive, and it's a good chance to try samples and see the booth that took home Best Booth. We also won Most Exotic Flavor there, so you can taste what the judges liked.

If you're new here, start with our guide to where to buy jerky in Albuquerque, and if you want to know the people behind the table, meet the Jerky Fixx family.
