Hi, I'm Aaliyah. I run the website for my family's jerky business, and a question I hear a lot is some version of "where can I buy jerky in Albuquerque?" It's a fair question. We are small batch, we are family run, and we don't look like the big brands on a gas station rack. So let's lay it all out, plain and simple.
The short answer
You can get Jerky Fixx two ways. You can find us in person at pop ups, festivals and ball games around Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, or you can order straight from this site and have it dropped at your door. That's it. No hunting around, no guessing which shelf we're on.
If you typed "beef jerky near me" into your phone and landed here, the fastest move is usually to order. The in-person stops are the fun part, though, and we'll get to those.
Order online and get it at your door
This is the easy one. Pick your flavors on the full menu, add them to your cart, and send the order in. You can also use the contact form if you'd rather just tell us what you want.
Here is what happens next:
- We text to confirm. A real person from the crew reaches out to double check your order and details.
- You pay how you like. We take Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay or cash.
- The dealer comes to you. Our dealer drops the order at your door and sends you a photo once it's delivered, so you know it's sitting on your step and not in a mystery spot.
Prices are simple too. A small bag is $7 and a large bag is $20. If you're not sure whether we reach your neighborhood, just text us at 505-922-5683 or 505-364-0678 and ask. You can also email jerkyfixx@gmail.com.
Catch us in person
We love a booth. You'll find us at pop ups, festivals and plenty of ball games around Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, usually with samples out so you can taste before you commit. That matters, because some of our flavors sound a little wild until you try them.
The next big stop is New Mexico Jerky Fest, Halloween Edition. It's this Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Isleta Resort & Casino. Come find the Jerky Fixx booth, say hi and try a sample. We've been lucky at that festival, too. We won Most Exotic Flavor and Best Booth there, and we'd love to see you at the table.
Not sure where we'll be after that? The dealer locator on the home page shows our next stop, and you can sign up there for dealer alerts so you hear about pop ups and games first.
Not sure what to grab? Start here
Twenty-five flavors can feel like a lot. If you want a shortcut, these are our top sellers:
- Honey Teriyaki is the gateway flavor. Sweet, sticky and savory, and a favorite with kids and grandmas alike. No heat at all.
- Garlic Parm has roasted garlic and nutty parmesan. Mellow on the heat, loud on the flavor.
- Lemon Pepper is bright lemon and cracked black pepper. A classic that never gets old.
- Hot Cheetos packs red hot cheeto dust into every strip. Your fingers will be red and you won't care.
- Takis brings that rolled chile lime crunch flavor to thin cut carne seca.
- Hot Cheeto Pickle is dill pickle tang meeting hot cheeto heat. It sounds weird. It sells out anyway.
- Mango Habanero is sweet mango up front and a slow habanero burn on the way out.
- X-Hot Green is our hottest green chile jerky, for people who like it loud.
Our heat scale runs from 0 to 5, so there's a spot for everybody, from the "no spice please" crowd to the heat chasers. If you're ordering for a group, mix a couple of mellow bags with one or two hot ones and let people dig in.
A word about carne seca
If you grew up in New Mexico, you probably call it carne seca. If you didn't, you can think of it as the dried, seasoned beef you already love, with a local name. We make ours small batch, with thin cut beef, a heavy hand with the seasoning and a long, slow dry. If you're searching for carne seca in Albuquerque, this is what we do all day. Our green chile carne seca post goes deeper on what makes it special here.
Make it a gift
Jerky travels well and nobody has ever been sad to get a bag. A few mixed flavors make a good gift for a coworker, a game day host or a cousin who just moved away and misses home. Order a few bags, tell us in the drop-off notes where to leave them and when, and the dealer handles the rest.
Ready when you are
So, where can you buy jerky in Albuquerque? At our booth, or at your door. Both are pretty great. If you live on the Westside, you might also like our post on jerky in Rio Rancho, and if you're curious who is behind the bags, meet the Jerky Fixx family.
Thanks for supporting a small family business. It really does mean a lot to my parents, and to me.
