About me
I'm the daughter of Joseph Garduno and Sabrina Penn Garduno, the husband and wife who own and run Jerky Fixx. We're a family-run business making small batch beef jerky and carne seca in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 25 flavors.
I'm studying web design, and my family's website is my real-world project. It also happens to be a project everyone around me is happy to taste test.
What I do at Jerky Fixx
- I manage and maintain jerkyfixx.com, including the jerky menu, the cart and the order forms.
- I keep the dealer locator up to date, so you can see where we're posting up next.
- I write this blog, from where to buy jerky in Albuquerque to flavor guides and event news.
My family and the jerky
My dad, Joseph Garduno, and my mom, Sabrina Penn Garduno, founded Jerky Fixx, and they run it with the rest of the crew. We show up at pop ups, festivals and ball games around Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, and we won Most Exotic Flavor and Best Booth at New Mexico Jerky Fest.
